Lorne Pike is a professional facilitator in St. John’s NL as well as a coach, website designer, and marketing and sales consultant with over two decades of experience. He has helped companies grow, writing strategies that allowed his clients to access new markets in North America and beyond. He has even taken those strategies “into the trenches,” often traveling to represent clients in all corners of North America, to entities like NASA, Seimens, HP, Pfizer, CNN, NBC, and to major print, radio and television entitites. He has been project leader and facilitator for public consultations, focus groups, telephone and intercept surveys, and document reviews. His focus is on working with a small group of client companies to develop genuinely caring and mutually profitable relationships with their clients.
Lorne is a member of the Internal Association of Facilitators and is or has also been a member of the Newfoundland Labrador Association of Technology Industries (NATI) and Oceans Advance. In markets outside his home base of Newfoundland and Labrador, he has been a member of the New Jersey Technology Council, the Technology Association of Georgia, the Silicon Valley chapter of the American Marketing Association, the National Defense Industry Association, the National Center for Simulation, and more.
Lorne has guest lectured for college and university business programs, and regularly supports the not-for-profit sector. He is active in the Rotary Club of St. John’s Northwest, and created both the very successful Big Brothers/Big Sisters Celebrity Secrets Variety Show, and the St. John’s School Lunch Association’s Skip-a-Lunch promotion, where he has also served as Chair. He has also held memberships in Mensa, Gideons, and the Atlanta History Center.
